Scotia Branch Library Welcomes Patrons Back with Limited Services

The Scotia Branch Library reopened Tuesday, February 17, with limited services available.

Patrons may access the front room of the library, including new and popular titles, adult fiction, public computers, and printing/copying services. Account services such as holds pickup, registration, and checkout are also available.

Additional areas of the building, including the meeting room and rear sections, remain temporarily closed while repairs continue, with full restoration expected to take several more weeks.

Following damage from last month’s winter storm, restoration crews have worked closely with County Facilities staff to assess and address impacted areas — with a continued focus on preserving the historic integrity of the Abraham Glen House.

We appreciate the community’s patience as we reopen safely and thoughtfully, while respecting the history of this treasured building.
