Beginning on Monday, April 14 patrons may be asked to enter their PIN when using Overdrive/Libby for a one-time validation process. Your Overdrive PIN is the same as your library account passcode to access your holds and checked out materials on our library catalog website at https://catalog.scpl.org/
By default, your PIN is set to the last four digits of the phone number you provided when registering for a library card although you are able to update that to something different when logged in to your account on our catalog.
If you don’t know your PIN/passcode and need to reset it, you can do so through our catalog as long as you provided an email address for your library account. Go to our catalog and click Log In near the upper right-hand corner of the page. Then choose “I forgot my passcode” and enter your library card number.
If you don’t have an email on file or would prefer to talk to someone for help, please feel free to call us at 518-388-4500 and choose your preferred library location from the menu. Let staff know you need to reset your Overdrive/Libby PIN and they’ll be happy to help.
