ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

  • All patrons will be required to wear a mask properly over their nose & mouth at all times they are on Library property.
  • Temperatures and COVID symptoms will be checked at the front door. Anyone with symptoms and/or an elevated temperature will not be allowed in the building(s).
  • All patrons will be required to sign-in before entry. This requirement for entry is to assist with any potential contact tracing in the event of an infection.
  • All patrons will be required to maintain social distancing parameters of at least 6 feet from each other and staff.
  • Failure to follow these requirements may result in suspension of Library privileges.

LIMITED SERVICES AVAILABLE:

  • Patrons will be allowed to browse the book, movie and music collections, but must check out once they are finished and leave the building(s).
  • All seating areas have been cordoned off and are unavailable for use.
  • Computer use is by appointment and limited to 30 minutes per day.
  • Patrons are asked to wipe down the computer station prior to and after use.
  • Staff will not be allowed to assist Computer-Use visitors with "hands-on" support as in the past.
  • Fax, print, and copy services are available for a fee and either with an appointment or as an in-person service.
  • Study rooms, meeting rooms and program rooms are all closed and are unavailable for public use.
  • Toys and puzzles have been removed and are unavailable.
  • CURB-SIDE PICKUP™ will still be available at separate times for those that do not wish to come inside to pick up their requests.
  • Lingering or loitering will not be allowed.

Our Curb-Side Pickup To Go™ services are running. In order for this service to run smoothly and safely, you will be required to follow the listed rules:

  • When you receive your text or email notification that your item(s) is/are available, give your Library branch a call to set up a Curb-Side Pickup™ appointment time.
  • It may take a day or two before you receive your notification. Please be patient.
  • DO NOT show up without having a confirmed, appointed time.
  • You MUST WEAR A MASK when you come to the Library to pickup.
  • You MUST BRING YOUR LIBRARY CARD and/or PHOTO ID when you come to the Library to pickup.
  • Upon arrival at the Library, look for signage as to where to go to pickup your materials. Most locations will have pickup outside the front door.

RETURNING YOUR MATERIALS

All of our Book Drops are open for you to return materials 24 hours a day.

  • We WILL NOT be accepting returned materials in person-to-person contact.
  • All returned materials must be placed in a Book Drop.
  • All returned materials enter into a quarantine period for 4-7 days.
  • Returned items will still show on your account until they exit their quarantine period.
  • We will start sending out bills for "Lost" items on Monday September 21 and on October 5 we will begin taking money for fines. If you have over due or lost items you will not be allowed to borrow any more, until you pay for or return the lost item(s). Up until then, if you return the "lost" items, you will not receive an overdue fine.
